Milk Based Lotion::

This fabulous skin loving lotion or cream uses Meyenberg Powdered Goat Milk as a base. It is important to heat the milk to 170 degrees and hold at this temperature for 15 to 20 minutes to insure the milk has no bacteria. Then your preservative will keep it preserved just fine. Goat's Milk is a rejuvenator and a moisturizer when used on the skin. The caprylic acid it contains is responsible for it's low pH. This helps the skin maintain it's natural balance, making it less vulnerable to bacterial invasion. Try this recipe to learn the technique of making milk based lotions.
